ORDERING

PAYMENT

For direct purchases we currently accept personal checks and credit card payments via the internet services, Paypal and Square Trade. We also accept payment via Zelle for larger orders.  Institutions may submit purchase orders. Payment is ordinarily to be made before we ship the book.  

SHIPPING

We normally ship via USPS media mail: $4.99 for the first book.  There will usually be an added shipping cost for overweight/oversize books, multiple copies, and sets.  Larger items of ephemera, including photographs, are usually extra, and various other collectibles we offer from time to time will be also. Magazine and any other material that include advertising may not be shipped media mail.  For priority mail: Regular octavo size book two (2) pounds and under inclusive of packaging: $22.50 first book.

In isolated cases, we may request additional shipping remuneration from the buyer to cover insurance for loss or damage on expensive items.  That said, we package very carefully to protect the book or product.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS SHIPPING CHARGES have a default shipping amount, which will change for books over 4 lbs and values over $400 US.  In those cases we will calculate the cost and add the appropriate amount to the original invoice or in some cases issue a second invoice.

SALES TAX

All books ordered from Washington State buyers will have an added point of destination sales tax on the combined book & shipping cost.  Contact us so that we may determine the exact tax to be remitted.  Thank you.

HOLDS

We are always willing to hold a book while you arrange to send payment. In unusual circumstances involving a length of time, we will work with you as best we can.

RETURNS

Books ordered directly from us may be returned for reimbursement, less shipping (unless we have made a grievous error in description in which case we reimburse shipping both ways).  Notified us by telephone or email within fourteen (14) days after delivery to your designated shipping address.

Books must be returned in the same condition they were shipped from us to you, and the return must be the same copy/item we shipped to you.  As noted, we reimburse both the original shipping you paid and your return shipping if we have made a significant error in our description of the book, otherwise return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and our original shipping charge will not be reimbursed.
