This publication came in several covers, different designs and colors, this copy with red wrappers with raised title in blue in a font common to the time. Cord-tied oblong wraps about 10" x 14". Cord is present but the portfolio is detached and thus free from the covers. (40pp.)This copy is from "Eleventh Edition" " 65th Thousand." So obviously publisher Thayer was running off for the tourist trade. Nevertheless there are few copies for sale online. Illustrated with half-tones of Pike's Peak, Denver, Leadville, Aspen, Victor, Cripple Creek, and other locations. Nicely drawn vignettes decorate the white border under the prints. Centerfold is "Gateway to the Garden of the Gods and Pike's Peak." Other than the above described separation, a nice copy, good+. But note that the tone of red in the photograph of this book is not exact.
