Original May 1946 issue of U S Camera featuring one of the first appearances of Norma Jeane Mortenson (Marilyn Monroe) on the cover. Large pictorial magazine wraps. 70pp. Profusely illustrated with photographic business and equipment advertising, and several feature articles. Although there is an article titled, "Glamour versus Technique" about photographing beautiful women, the Mortenson / Monroe photo is only on the cover of the magazine. It was shot by Andre de Dienes. Three other unidentified women are also on the front cover. A nearly fine copy. Very scarce as a single issue.
