Good reading copy with library sticker front paste down & check-out sleeve & card read paste down. Date sleeve on rear free endpaper removed but top part still glued. Short call number on lower front cover but not on spine. No edge stamps. We find no interior stamps or embossments. Fine woodblock black and white illustrations by Catherine Hinkle. Uncommon.
