Full page ads in back of each volume for Augustana College and Theological Seminary, Rock Island, Ill., Gustavus Adolphus College, St. Peter Minn., Bethany College, Lindsborg, Kansas, and Augustana Book Concern, Minneapolis. This album was published "by a staff chosen by the Board of Directors, The Faculty, and the Senior Class." Book I "endeavors to portray ... the founding, the growth and development, the ideals and the charactaristics of Luther College the past forty years." Vol. II presents ... the school life in its various activities during the 40th school year, 1922-23." From the appropriate online source: "Luther College and Academy were founded in 1883 by Swedish Lutheran immigrants who believed deeply in the importance of education. The college operated in Wahoo, Nebraska until 1962 when it merged with Midland College. The merged institution became Midland Lutheran College.
