1st printing. Pictorial glossy wraps. 164pp. Illus. Gentle ex-library copy with Berry's presentation inscription on the title page to the Waynesboro Library dated in 1998. The library's address stamp is on the bottom of the copyright page. Library's name and city stamped on top edge and crossed out. "Does Not Circulate" stamp in red on last page (otherwise blank) with call number printed in pencil at top corner. The spine, instead of having a call number label, has a label upon which the library carefully printed in felt pen, "BERRY". Likely the printer/publisher did not print the name of the author on the spine. The both cover edges on the interior side and the spine carefully and neatly reinforced with clear tape. Ordinarily ex-lib books are devalued, but when the author has presented and inscribed a copy to a library, the ex-lib demerit is lessened. A very hard to locate book with only one copy known shelved in any other library around the world, and that in the zoological library in Lausanne. Considering the gentle ex-lib notes, we nevertheless grade this copy near fine.
