1st printing. Cloth. 256pp. Endpaper maps of the original cattle range of interior British Columbia. Simply one of the best memoirs of a North American cowboy ever written. Partially affixed former owner's custom bookplate on front paste down. The facing ffep has summary text of front flap glued to it. Loss of color to top corner off ffep and one reverse. The former owner also put his custom bookplate on the verse of the half-title. After noting these detractions, it is nevertheless important to say that the covers are bright and the text block is in great shape. The rear endpapers map is fine. NO DJ. Sold here as a very nice reading copy of the First Edition and likewise reasonably priced.
