1st edition thus of reprint of two previous titles (New Mexico) (Rio Grande). Gilt-stamped 4to hardbound. 112pp. Beautifully illustrated with the color photos of two fine photographers, David Muench & Robert Reynolds. Laid into this copy is a glossy promo quarto size sheet from the publisher on which are two photos, one of them being a photo of the book in the originally planned dj with a slightly different title, "New Mexico & Rio Grande Tony Hillerman". Two Hillerman essays were included in this edition that were not available in book form. Fine, like new in dj. A fairly common book, but our copies the only ones we know of including the sheet showing alternative title.
