1st edition thus of this nice promo booklet. 12mo square pictorial wraps in lovely, but not garish, color. (36pp). Illustrated with a number of b/w photos. Map with color inside front cover. We estimate publication date circa 1945 and place of publication probably Iron River, Michigan. The map gives distances as a unit from Iron River, Stambaugh, Caspian, Gaastra, and Mineral Hills to various cities in the midwest from Des Moines, Iowa, to Columbus, Ohio. Title page dedicates this booklet to Carrie Jacobs Bond, "Who Spent the Happiest Years of Her Life In Iron River." Bond's portrait is on page 3 and she is described as a "Writer of Songs." Indeed, Wikipedia has quite a write up on her. Trace of wear to upper right corner of front cover where there was once a price sticker, else fine. Very scarce UP promotional and vacation booklet.
