Original covers were boards, but both covers broken off (2/3 front & 1/2 back). Album of original two-sided oblong printed/ruled sheets filled out in ink & pencil on both sides. Shipments "Received of Wells Fargo & Co. Express at their Offfice in Peru (handwritten) (Iowa)." Very scarce original documents. 42 leaves: first 2 with 2" - 3" edge fore edge loss. Many others bottom chipped. More than half with small chips. All browned & brittle at the edges. Very scarce original documents, each sheet with date, where from, article, value, consignee, weight, cost, etc.
