Rear endpapers "Map showing Cattle Trails as used from 1866 to 1895 for driving cattle on to shipping points or when trailing to northern markets." The map is a reproduction of "Jack Potter's Map of Cattle Trails Prepared by A. C. Loveless Clayton, N. M." Several line inscription to "our pretty little tophand cowgirl friend Midgie Briscoe, ..." signed by King. He also signed his wife's name. Hinge after frontispiece reglued and with just a tiny bid of the webbing showing. A better than good copy. No dj. We don't believe one was issued. Adams Herd 1274.
