It is address by editor-publisher Frank Evans to a lady in Seattle stating that he was sending her this copy, and adds information including the fact that the author(73 years old) and his wife live on a farm, was a school teacher, and paid for the printing of the book from his private funds. Also laid in is a separate facsimile printing of the title page and one chapter. Vg condition with traces of wear to extremities. The gilt is very good. The book was published with a dust jacket, but the dj is lacking with this copy. With the original letter from the publisher, a very desirable copy.
