BOOMING AND PANICKING ON PUGET SOUND - Librarian's special reference copy

Bellingham: Whatcom Museum of History and Art, 1970. Facsimile reprint. Soft cover. Collectible Very Good. Item #2302001

Reprint of 1933 item. Pictorial wraps. (49pp + ads). Illustrated with vintage photos & ads. Gentle ex-lib with call number on small label affixed to lower front cover & over-taped with clear tape. Museum's ink stamp lower title page. This is an unusual copy. Across the top of the front cover is hand-printed and underlined, "Page Numbered Copy / Reference for Index Cards." The first line is hand-printed over the first line of the title. Inside on ffep is "Copy 2." Each page after title page & blank has first in ink and then in pencil the page number hand-written on this page. As the book is unpaginated, the museum librarian saw fit to add page numbers for reference and research. I'm not sure I've seen this done before! If you can accept the unique additions, including on the cover title, a vg, collectible copy! This book is apparently about the development of Bellingham & the Puget Sound area around it. Perhaps the librarian did it to two copies.

Price: $25.50
