Original publication. Beautiful color pictorial 4to wraps. 40pp. Illus. Three large folding maps of Saskatchewan, Alberta, and Manitoba. Also a double-page color map of British Columbia. The colorful back cover has an ink stamp giving contact information for the Canadian government agent in Minneapolis. For a number of years in the early twentieth century, the Canadian government highly promoted the settling of the prairie provinces and touted primarily the rich farmland. They produced on an annual basis these booklets magazine size with fabulous covers. They are highly collectable from source material, cartography, and simply aesthetic reasons. This is the 1927 issue. Very good and very scarce. This is one of the more collectable issues because of the fabulous covers.
