Rust-colored wraps. 56pp. The author was born in 1869, grew up in a ranching family in Texas, & migrated to Indian Territory & made the 1889 Run. This memoir was published for the 50th anniversary of the 89er Run. It was the first of a projected series of booklets. Near fine condition. This copy also has the publisher's printed "belt" wrapped around the book & folding under the covers. It reads "O Pioneers" etc. on the front & the back gives ordering information for additional copies. Very scarce. Herd 568.
