HOTEL COLORADO

N.p, Denver, 1896, 1896. Soft cover. Very Good. Item #0408034

Not a book. One ruled sheet A.L.S. (written & signed letter). Oct. 21, 1896, from Matt Edwards, who was staying at the Hotel Colorado in Denver (Chas. Straul, Prop.), 1634 Larimer St.. Mr. Edwards wants his friend, Billy, to know that he really wants to return to Austin for Christmas & the New Year, but his sister is "very anxious" for him to remain for the holidays with her. Like a good brother, he will: "I can't hardly refuse her Billy..." Rates at the Hotel were 50 cents to $2 a day., but it was worth it apparently: "Steam Heat, Electric Bills (?), Strictly First-class, Central Location." Soiling to lower portion; two small punched holes at top from some sort of binder; vg condition.

Price: $22.68
