Glossary, Index. Maps. One of the classic and important military books on the frontier during the Indian Wars. A near fine copy with usual darkening to gilt on the spine titles. The second printing dj is same size as first printing dj with same coloring, lettering, & illustrations including backstrip. Price on the flap is same as on first printing, but repositioned. Minor textual position changes to info on flaps; rear panel with different list of OU books for sale. Because design/color/illus of the dj is the same, I have not discounted the price severely because it is a second printing dj, but of course the prospective buyer may beg to differ.
