WE POINTED THEM NORTH: Recollections of a Cowpuncher

NY: Farrar & Rinehart, 1939. First Edition. Hardcover. Poor. Item #xxx022

1st printing. Pictorial cloth. 281pp. Illus. Index. Maps. One of the classic range autobiographies of cattle driving and ranching in old time Montana. Info on Charlie Russell, Granville Stuart, Pike Landusky, et. Al. We must grade this copy poor because the spine & adjacent front board are badly faded. On this title a paper title band was bound onto the covers; it is cracked at the spine. It seems disingenuous to say "else near fine," but other than the fading and cracking to the paper band it is near fine. From the library of the University Club of Seattle with Club bookplate on front paste down & small number sticker on spine. Lower spine corner of ffep has bookseller's label, "Harry Hartman Seattle." To be regarded a good reading copy. No dj. Good copies start at $375 on the internet, so interested buyer can determine if this one is a good deal at our price.
