The author, a Lutheran Ministry in the English District of the Missouri Synod (LCMS), served in Akron, Ohio (ordained in 1904) For over 60 years he was it's pastor. This book is not so much a memoir as a careful consideration as to how to conduct a broad-based ministry. The fact that it was published just after mid-century does not detract from its wisdom. Near fine in good dj that is somewhat soiled & with a couple of chips. Scarce.
