Endpaper drawings of Oklahoma gunfighters & Indians. Intro by Henry Scott. Nix was appointed U. S. Marshal of Oklahoma Territory in 1893 & oversaw the reining in of many of the Oklahoma outlaws. Details & some incidences of this book have been criticized, but because it was a standard reference biography for so many years regarding the O.T. outlaw era, it has to be considered a classic & key for any collection of the subject.
