Sternberg, United States Army. Borden was "Captain and Assistant Surgeon, U. S. Army." Ink stamp of Dr. Oliver C. Melson on front paste down. Melson was a physician in Little Rock, Arkansas. Science Magazine, Sept. 9, 1927, reported that Melson, of the Mayo Clinic, was appointed Head of the Dept. of Medicine at the University of Arkansas. Title actually has the spelling, "röntgen. "Good plus copy with some edgewear and moderate fading to spine. Scarce.
