Cloth. 241pp. Illust. Maps. Index. A good read from the days when Africa was the romantically & mystically "dark" continent. Trace of black on base of spine from old dj protector. Part of cover edges along spine & fore edge are slightly shiny due to offset of old dj protector. The unattractive printed dj has chips & is somewhat dark & quite soiled. Old tape reinforces it, & new archival tape has been used to reattach the detached blank back flap. Thus, a vg copy in problematic, but mostly complete dj.
