THIS IS A JOKE BOOK -- A BOOK MADE INTO A JOKE. Roberts took a real book, in this case Nature Study and Health Education (McKnight & McKnight, Normal, Ill.) and precisely cut the heart out of the text block in the form of a vertical triangle with round corners-- i. e. made a hole. Pasted on the inside of the rear cover is a card showing a janitor pushing a cleaning cart. Taped on that card is a miniature broom and shovel. So this is a real book made into a joke and with the new pictorial title label published, printed, and affixed to the front cover. The ffep has a gift inscription. Good +, moderately worn. Probably no dj issued in this state.
