Long, color folding map in rear, "The Northwest in 1900 Showing The North-Western System and Connecting Lines to the Pacific. Also Indian Reservations, and their population in 1899." There is also a color map of the U. S. in the front. There are also several other color 1 page maps. This copy poor reading copy because (1) front binding is broken with first signature loose, (2) leave containing pps 63/64 have portion of a photo of Cheyenne Girls torn out with resulting loss of text on verso; piece torn out is @ 2 1/2" x 3". From another copy I simultaneously owned I photocopied those two pages & the copies are folded & laid into the book. (3) back hinge is broken but rear binding is nevertheless stable. Finally (4) verso of front cover, the paper backing, is cracked. Tiny library sticker on spine & inside front cover. Having verbally lambasted this copy, I think that nonetheless someone will really appreciate the content, illustrations, and maps of this book.
