Not a book. 8" x 10" slightly sepia toned original photos from the Far North (Alaska, NW Territories, Yukon?). Nine are taken of open water with close snow & ice covered mountains, some showing a glacier coming down to the water. Two photos show two men in a small row boat. One photo is of an Indian or Inuit carver working on an already partially carved piece of ivory, with a similar piece, carved, laying on the bench. He is seated, & dressed in plaid shirt, overalls, waist-down apron, & black stocking cap. Fine condition. n.d. (ca 1930-1950?).
